Ylang ylang is obtained through steam distillation from the fresh flowers of the tropical plant and is distinguished by a rich, warm and floral-sweet aroma. The oil is used both in aromatherapy and in homemade cosmetic blends for skin and hair care.

How to use

For aromatherapy, add a few drops to the water reservoir of an aroma lamp or diffuser. For facial care, dilute the oil in a carrier oil at a concentration of about 1%-1.5% (approximately 3-4 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil). For body and hair, a higher concentration of about 2%-3% is used (around 6-9 drops added to a carrier oil, shampoo or mask). Before first use, perform a patch test on a small area of skin.
