Yarrow is among the oldest known herbs in European folk medicine, valued for its varied composition of flavonoids, tannins and essential oil.
What it contains
Standardised water-ethanol extract of yarrow /Achillea millefolium/; 62-68% vol ethanol. Contains flavonoids, tannins, essential oil and camphor, as well as the amino acid asparagine and salicylic acid.
Intended use
Yarrow is traditionally used in herbal practice to support digestion and to maintain a normal hormonal balance in women. The herb is known for its antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory action, while the asparagine it contains is known for its role in the normal function of the nervous system. Externally, yarrow is traditionally applied in the care of the skin and gums.
How to use
20 drops, diluted in about 50 ml mineral water or juice, twice daily, before meals. Recommended daily dose: 40 drops.
