Dandelion root is rich in taraxin - the compound responsible for its characteristic bitterness - as well as inulin and potassium. The tincture is made from a standardised extract of the root.
What it contains
Standardised water-ethanol extract of dandelion, root /Taraxacum officinale/; 62-68% vol ethanol. Contains taraxin, sterols, flavonoids (rutin, luteolin and quercetol), terpenes and potassium (about 30% of the plant's mineral content), as well as inulin.
Intended use
Dandelion root is traditionally used to support metabolism and the normal function of the liver and gallbladder, as well as the urinary system. In folk practice the herb is known for its contribution to normal appetite and digestion. The taraxin it contains is known for its contribution to urine output.
How to use
40 drops, diluted in about 50 ml mineral water or juice, up to 3 times daily, before meals.

Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not a substitute for a varied diet. Contains alcohol. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, ill (especially with bile duct issues) or taking medication.
