Sage is one of the most recognisable aromatic herbs in the Bulgarian tradition, and its essential oil concentrates that distinctive grassy, balsamic scent. The product is a 100% natural and pure essential oil extracted from sage (Salvia officinalis). Because of its high concentration, it is used in small amounts and is almost always diluted in a carrier base before it reaches the skin.

How to use

For aromatherapy, add a few drops to the water of an aroma lamp or a diffuser. For facial care, the oil is diluted at a concentration of about 1%–1.5% in a carrier oil, that is roughly 3–4 drops per 10 ml of base. For body and hair a higher concentration of about 2%–3% is used, that is around 6–9 drops added to a carrier oil, shampoo or mask. The oil is intended for external use only and is not to be taken internally.
