Bioherba's cedarwood essential oil is a concentrated natural product obtained by distillation from the needles of the cedar tree. Its aroma is warm, woody and balsamic, which makes it a favourite choice for aromatherapy, for a soothing atmosphere at home and for inclusion in homemade cosmetic blends for the skin and hair.

What it contains

The base of the product is pure cedarwood oil, whose characteristic profile is defined by its natural aromatic components, namely sesquiterpenes, cedrene, cedrol and cedryl acetate. These give the oil its rich woody scent and make it a valued ingredient in the care of the scalp and problem skin.

How to use

For aromatherapy, add a few drops to an aroma lamp or diffuser. For facial care, dilute the oil in a carrier oil at a concentration of about 1–1.5% (roughly 3–4 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil). For body and hair, use a higher concentration of about 2–3% (around 6–9 drops added to a carrier oil or shampoo). Do not apply undiluted to the skin.
