Rosemary is one of the most recognisable Mediterranean herbs, and the essential oil extracted from it carries its fresh, herbaceous and slightly camphorous scent in concentrated form. This Bioherba product is obtained by steam distillation, a method that preserves the plant's natural aromatic character. The liquid comes in a convenient 10 ml bottle, so every drop can be used sparingly and purposefully.
What it contains
The product is built on pure rosemary oil with no additives. Its aromatic profile is shaped by natural compounds such as pinene, camphene, borneol, cineole (eucalyptol), camphor, limonene and myrcene, which give the oil its characteristic invigorating, herbal aroma.

How to use

For external care the oil is always diluted in a carrier (base) oil: for the face roughly 3-4 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil (about a 1%-1.5% dilution), and for body and hair around 6-9 drops, which may also be added to a shampoo or mask. Because it is highly concentrated, rosemary oil should not be applied neat to the skin.
