Sunflower flour is produced by grinding hulled sunflower seeds, keeping much of their natural nutrient content intact. It is a flexible pantry staple, rich in B vitamins, vitamin E, vitamin K and vitamin A, along with minerals such as iron, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium and copper.
Thanks to its fine texture, the flour blends easily into other ingredients without overpowering the flavor of the finished dish.
Taste and characteristics
It has a mild, pleasant nutty note and a fine, dry texture. The color is pale and creamy, and the fats it contains are easily digestible plant fats.
How to use it
Enjoy it straight off the spoon, or fold it into bread dough, cakes and other baked goods. It also works well stirred into yogurt, smoothies or another liquid base for a protein boost.
Storage
Keep in a cool, dry place, in a sealed pack, away from direct light.
Packaging
Available in a 200 g pack.
